-Fix HP Procurve 3500yl switch in HS Media Room. Install in server closet. Patch new HP 410 Wireless Access Unit in near new computer lab. Activate wireless access in High School Library for all new equipment.
-Order and install new computer for Nurse at Kent Heights.
-Inventory new equipment with new EP metalized Asset Tags. Use new scanner to enter equipment into inventory database. Mark all equipment with appropriate grant information.
-Order and install two new computers for Special Education department at Martin Middle School
-Install new KeyMath Diagnostic testing software for Special Educators as requested.

-Completed telephone service conversion from Verizon to Cox Communications which includes all telephone, fax, and HVAC lines supporting all schools. Conversion to new voicemail for all schools and adminstrators. Setup new phone tree for district number. All staff moved to new Cox Voicemail system.
-Hired Network Administrator. Start date: July 2009
-Surveyed existing network to develop new network structure. Researched options to upgrade system. Created district-wide solution to replace outdated network that includes POE and wireless access points.
-Installed new server for Power School Student Information System

-Ordered 250 new HP workstations, 100 HP mini-notebooks and replacement network equipment and servers for all elementary schools, middle schools and pre-school.
-Installed 38 new computers at Career and Technical Center. 25 computers for technology lab with Vista and Office 2007, all teachers and staff receive new computers. Principal given new laptop
-Installed refurbished Centrex telephone system for Career and Technical Center. (previous system failed).
-Processed end-of-year rollover for Student Information System. Sent data to Power School for data conversion.

-Purchased off-site webserver solution (Network Solutions) for district website to increase district up-time and eliminate need for new server onsite.
-Plugged in over 300 computers that are unplugged at the High School due to cleaning needs.
