Response to Intervention Resources

The East Providence School Department is committed to provide a quality education to every student, every day. However, not all students learn in the same way or at the same rate. Response to Intervention (RtI) is the mechanism to provide support and interventions so that every child will meet his or her full potential. This initiative is everyone’s responsibility: the classroom teacher, special educator, ELL teacher, Reading specialist, social worker, psychologist, LEA, Speech and Language specialists, guidance counselor, principal, and the family.
A detailed and data-driven process is part of Repsonse to Intervention. For further information of our intervention process, please visit our RtI Process page located here
